TRAVELLING WITHIN MALINDI
Car hire within Malindi, including a variety
of four wheel drives is readily available (and can be arranged
on your behalf). Driving in Malindi is straightforward and safe.
However, the main problem is avoiding bicycles and pedestrians!
Taxis are very common and cheap. A journey
from the house to Malindi Town is in the order of Ksh400.
New forms of taxis have grown in the last
year. Bicycle taxis are now very common and cheap although maybe
doubtful safe forms of transport!
Tut Tuts are three wheeler taxis imported from India and are
cheap and reliable. They can be ordered by telephone to call
